2011 Tri City Health Day- Coquitlam Public Library Poirier Branch, October 15 2011

The Health Day, organized by Amberheart Breast Cancer Foundation -  the pro-health program and initiative to educate community members about disease awareness, risks and prevention. The event was opened by Mr. Richard Stewart, the Mayor of Coquitlam. The seminars were delivered by professional non-profit organizations Amberheart Breast Cancer Foundation; Arthritis Society, BC & Yukon Division; BC Epilepsy Society;  Canadian Diabetes Association; Canadian Mental Health Association- Simon Fraser Branch; Parkinson Society of British Columbia; Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada; Sani-Dent Denture Health Care; The Village Health Clinic/ Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine; Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Amberheart participated in Youth Philanthropy Initiative sponsored by Toronto – based Toskan Foundation, which encourages youth to research local charities in order to develop employability skills and a sense of social responsibility.
