Board of
Directors/Scientific Leadership Council Opportunity
Our organization is governed by a small
international board of directors whose professional excellence and
hard work enables Amberheart to provide high level, quality
programmes that have a positive, lasting impact on those they serve
in Canada and in Europe.
Because the organization intends to
expand its educational activities and community research programmes
to ethnic, minority and other underserved groups as well as to
develop collaborative biotech research programs, we are looking to
expand our Board of Directors and to create a Scientific Leadership
Council.

the US an estimated 212,920 new cases of invasive breast
cancer will be diagnosed among women. In Canada an
estimated 22,400 women will be diagnosed with
breast cancer in 2008...
More than 95

“take your health into your hands”
As long as breast cancer does not affect you or someone
close to you - a mother, daughter, sister, or best
friend - it’s hard to imagine thinking about it or, much
less doing something as a preventive measure.
Although every day activities usually keep your thoughts
far from a routine visit to your doctor and caring about
your own health, it is very important to find the time
for regular breast examinations and periodical
mammograms.

Breast
Cancer and Young Women
Although younger women generally do not consider
themselves to be at risk for breast cancer,
unfortunately they can also be affected by the disease
and generally, the invasiveness of these tumors is much
higher...
In fact, one in every 230 women between the ages of 30
and 40 will be diagnosed with breast cancer within the
next 10 years...
Younger women struggle with many issues including
menopausal symptoms, sexual functioning, body image,
problems with relationship, psycho-social and long-term
survivorship ...

Inflammatory breast cancer
What you should know is that there is another kind of cancer
called inflammatory breast cancer (IBC). Inflammatory breast
cancer isn't caused by an inflammation or infection. This is a
rare type of cancer, in which breast cancer cells block the
lymph vessels in the skin of the breast.

The story of Amber
Hearts

Baltic Amber is 40-60 million-year-old fossil resin from extinct pine
trees and has been regarded as the "store of life and health". We wanted
you or the people you present with a golden piece of amber to experience
the positive influence of negative ions gathered by amber and emanated
towards the body.
