Amberheart is an
independent charitable organization promoting, supporting and
actively participating in the eradication of Breast Cancer...
Breast Cancer Information
Breast cancer strikes more women in the world than any
other type of cancer and about 1.3 million women will be
diagnosed with breast cancer annually worldwide.
More than 95
percent of women whose breast cancer is found and
treated in the early stage have a chance of surviving.
Amberheart is also
involved in research and development
training programs dealing with Breast Cancer prophylaxis...
Breast
Cancer and Young Women
Although
younger women generally do not consider themselves to be
at risk for breast cancer, unfortunately they can
also be affected by the disease and generally, the
invasiveness of these tumours is much higher...
"take
your health into your hands"
As long as breast cancer does not affect you or someone
close to you - a mother, daughter, sister, or best
friend - it's hard to imagine thinking about it or, much
less doing something as a preventive measure.
Inflammatory
breast cancer
What you should know is that there is another kind of cancer
called inflammatory breast cancer (IBC). This is a rare type of
cancer, in which breast cancer cells block the lymph vessels in
the skin of the breast.
Prevention & Early Detection Workshops
The
workshop is designed for all women who would like to
improve their knowledge about breast cancer, risk
factors, prophylaxis, and to learn how to perform proper
Breast Self Examination that can help discover early
symptoms or lumps.
Learn more about breast cancer, risk factors, prevention,
treatment, and more from other sites
Showing your commitment by
purchasing the following materials will help to increase
breast cancer awareness and improve knowledge amongst
women. It will also help to develop programs educating
women and medical personnel in breast detection.
