The Story of Amber Hearts |
|
The idea to create these amber hearts as a token of our appreciation for
donors had three main reasons:
First, we decided to conceive a unique piece of Sterling silver jewelry
originally designed and exclusively manufactured for us, based on the philosophy
of antagonism similar to the yin-yang principle, where cold metal symbolizes the
battle against Breast Cancer and warm amber (the only jewellery stone of plant
origin) symbolizes hope and victory over the illness.
Secondly, we wanted to present you, for your generosity, with a unique piece
of jewelry having an intrinsic emotional value.
Thirdly, since Baltic
Amber is 40-60 million-year-old fossil resin from extinct pine trees and has
been regarded as the "store of life and health" guaranteeing a youthful look
since ancient times, we wanted you or the people you present with the golden
piece of amber to experience the positive influence of negative ions gathered by
amber and emanated towards the body. |

Tips on giving amber hearts

Amber hearts are
symbols of compassion and expression of donor support for the battle against
Breast Cancer. We hope that every amber heart, besides its ornamental value will
become a symbol of comfort, solace, calm, and hope to every friend and
supporter.
There are
many ways to wear or to give an amber heart:

- Give as a commemoration of a special occasion: birthday, graduation, etc.
